Something about me: Giovanna Caccaro

I graduated in Vicenza, at the Technical Institute as a stylist. My training has taken place between Treviso and Milan, first as a model maker, dedicating myself to the study of each individual sample project, later becoming a professor at the Stibam Academy.
The passion for this work led me to open my own studio in Vicenza, where I have been crafting for nearly 30 years clothing for business samples and for individuals.
In recent years, the focus of my collections has turned to cater unconventional sizes while remaining young and stylish. The design has softened to emphasize comfort and elegance for every event, without discounting trends and individual clients’ need.

The realization of each unique piece is an art that becomes form. From the choice and the study of the fabric on my work table, to the birth of the model; every step is personally handcrafted. I often think that is the fabric itself to inspire my ideas and creations. I craft each piece enthused by the colors and the seasons, maintaining a perfect harmony with them. For me, this is the secret of the right outfit. I choose the perfect fabric for my creations, being inspired by spring landscapes and the charm of the scents of the seasonal flowers. I envision the same explosion of joy and verve in a vividly colored dress that fits flawlessly, and makes the woman wearing it feel great about herself.
Everything starts from my eyes and hands. Thinking of a template, designing and projecting each piece, and seeing that it begins to take shape in any size is, first and foremost, a feeling that is an intrinsic part of me and my art.
My hands and the fabric are the means with which I find my balance, and I am inspired to create.
